CRY Clinic 2015

On Saturday 14th November, we joined with the amazing charity, Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), to fund a heart screening day at St George’s hospital in Tooting, London.

We funded this in memory of James Phillips who tragically suffered a cardiac arrest whilst running a half marathon as part of a team of runners from our charity last September. Every week in the UK at least 12 young people die of undiagnosed heart conditions, whose lives could be saved by a simple test. Since its formation in 1995,Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) has been working to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD). Funding heart screening programmes is just one way we can try and help to achieve this.
