Making a Difference with Cardiac Arrest in the Young

17/04/2016

Last year Kevin Quinn took part in a screening programme for Cardiac Arrest in the Young.

As a result of the screening Kevin, an extremely keen runner who regularly takes part in competitve races, found out that he had a previously undetected hole in his heart.

Following successful surgery Kevin has already started hitting the pavements again. However, his story shows how important the work that CRY is doing is to address the risk of cardiac arrest in young people. Last year the Patrick Evans Foundation sponsored a screening clinic with CRY and are extremely supportive fo the work that the charity is doing. out more of Kevin's story please visit his blog.
