An epic cycle for children's hospice care

The Foundation is delighted to be able to help raise funds for children's hospice care as part of an incredible sponsored cycle.

Children's nurse Francesca Lennon is riding a staggering 3,200 miles across the length and breadth of the UK to help fund and raise awarness for the critical role of children's hospice care.

Her trip will take her to all 54 of the country's children's hospices which provide support and care for families during their darkest times.  Across the UK 99,000 seriously ill children are looked after by the network - which is struggling to raise the necessary funds to continue the absolute vital work they do.

Fran has founded charity ChatUK54 as part of her challenge and all funds raised will go to children's palliative care charity Together for Short Lives.

Fran has been a huge part of the Foundation over the years, joining us at our P4P events and taking on challenge after challenge on behalf of our charity and others.  We are delighted to be able to help sponsor her intrepid endeavour for such an important cause.

Any of our supporters who are looking to back Fran's efforts can donate through her website (via Justgiving) here:
