Christmas Eve Carol Singers Take Reigate by Storm!

On Christmas Eve a group of family and friends of Patrick’s went Carol Singing on Reigate High Street raising money on behalf of Reigate Rotary Club for ‘The Patrick Evans Foundation.’

We were ably and tunefully lead by one of Patrick’s closest friends Katy Rudd, who kept us in tune despite the freezing temperatures that day! We were amazed by the generosity of the people of Reigate and delighted that we managed to raise over £800!

Special thank yous to everyone who heard us on Christmas Eve and to those who donated and to all the children for their requests (mainly ‘Jingle Bells’!) A very special thankyou to the Reigate Lady who went home and felt inspired to donate further having visited the website. Comments like yours make it all worthwhile! Thankyou to the Manager of Starbucks who generously donated cups of coffee, which helped us keep our voices but also helped to keep us warm.

And finally thankyou Katy, Joe and Maggie for organising the Carol Singing and to all of those who came and sung! See you next year!
