Jigsaw 4 U - new helpline

The Patrick Evans Foundation is pleased to have been able to provide support to Jigsaw 4 U again in 2020.

In 2018 the Foundation sponsored a pilot of a new helpline to provide advice and support for young people, parents, family members, teachers and practitioners who need guidance and support to managae grief and bereavement advice.

As with many UK charities, Jigsaw 4 U's work has been hugely affected by the disruption of the Covid-19 pandemic - with all planned 2020 fundraising activities having to be cancelled just when many of its services became in especially high demand.

We have therefore been pleased to be able to do the same again for a six month period this year, hoping to help those who have needed support during the hugely challenging period of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The helpline is there to help when a child's parent, sibling, close friend or other significant other person has died, is expected to die, or has a life limiting condition.

This donation has been made in memory of Maribel Standerwick and in gratitude for the support that Jigsaw 4 U has provided to the Standerwick family.
