P4P 2011 - the bands

05/02/2012

Here are some facts and musical delights to whet your appetite in anticipation of P4P 2011.....

Emi Green is a British born Aussie girl from Perth, Western Australia. Check out the dance moves in this video - we will be looking for equally smooth movers around our festival this year!

A 22 year old London based singer-songwriter and guitarist who performs with her father called Patrick (a very valid reason to love her already!), Emily and The Woods' first tracks were recorded with Brit award winner, Laura Marling, in a kitchen (!) in April 2009.

King Charles' own brilliant version of Billy Joel's 'We didn't start the fire' and very wild hair, is set to entertain, and with a single release and tour scheduled for the Autumn, we feel privileged that he could fit P4P into his busy schedule.

Matthew and the Atlas supported Mumford & Sons earlier this year, and have had fantastic reviews for their performances with a wonderful mix of acoustic guitars, accordions and banjos.

And who could forget Newton Faulkner. For those who were unable to make it last year, Newton blew us away with his unique blend of cover versions mixed with his own classic tracks. Here is a little taster of his cover of the '80s hit 'You spin me round.'

See all of those acts, and much much more at P4P 2011.
